Côte d’Ivoire is an important cocoa and coffee origin. It is the world’s largest producer of cocoa, with over 40% of the world’s production, and is one of Africa’s top two producers of Robusta coffee.
Armajaro Côte d’Ivoire is a licensed exporter and manages all domestic purchases in Côte d’Ivoire of cocoa and Robusta coffee for export via its facilities in the ports of Abidjan and San Pedro.
Armajaro Côte d’Ivoire was also the sole supplier of cocoa in a private public partnership launched in November 2005 to promote sustainable cocoa production certified to Rainforest Alliance standards.
