Armajaro Trading is a global soft commodity trading house and supply chain manager founded in 1998 and is one of the world's largest traders in soft commodities.

Headquartered in London, we have origination and exporting operations in all the major cocoa, coffee and sugar growing countries across the globe employing over 2,000 people.

We specialise in the sourcing and delivery of cocoa, coffee and sugar and we are committed to being the partner of choice in the Agri-commodity supply chain. Our established customer base includes all of the major global chocolate manufacturers and most of the world's leading coffee manufacturers and roasters.Sugar trading is a recent addition to our business and continues to grow and develop.

We also offer our clients bespoke financial instruments including forward price cover and value-added services from the initial sourcing and pricing through to the factory gate.

Armajaro Trading appoints new Chief Executive

Armajaro Trading (ATL), one of the world's largest traders in soft commodities, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Stone as Chief Executive.

The appointment is effective from January 14th 2013, when Andrew will also join the board of Armajaro Holdings. Richard Gower, ATL’s acting Chief Executive will take the post of ATL Non-Executive Chairman.

Richard Gower said: "We are delighted to appoint Andrew Stone as Armajaro Trading’s chief executive. He has a wealth of expertise in soft commodities which will enable us to develop our leading international position in sourcing and delivering cocoa, coffee and sugar. I am confident that under Andrew’s leadership Armajaro Trading will continue to expand as a world leader in the sustainable and traceable supply of soft commodities, building on its previous fifteen years of growth".

Andrew Stone said: “I am honoured to be given the opportunity to lead Armajaro Trading at this important moment in its evolution. I am looking forward to developing the business and further enhancing our position as a leader in providing the link between farm and brands, serving both our growing farmer network and international buyers".

Andrew has been ATL’s Head of Commodities since July 2012, and was previously a non-executive Director on the ATL board.
